Hi Brian,
If my memory is correct it is 102mm not 103mm, so cut off 8mm
When you lower the steering rack the lower steering column uj might just touch the chassis upright, if so make a small dent in the upright so there is no contact.
Also when you lower the steering rack the tracking will be out, so check this and mine car then needed the top wish bones moved back a little, as it would not self-centre
Also check that the steering rack does not crush the lower water pipe.
Sounds a lot but it is worth the effort
