have fitted new land rover disco mounts and took Graig and Russ's advise and let the engine find it's own bed. This would not have been achieved without making a slot for the mount to seat ..see pics attached.
I had made slots in the bracket for forward and backward adjustment when fitting the engine ...but after making vertical slots..would seem that the pre -drilled holes may not be in the in the right position, and can now see why the engine wanted to force it's way down.
