If you look at, for example, the section about fuel tanks, in the "things to apporve" column (rhs) it talks about a tank complying with a prior standard or approval, and asks for the paperwork regarding that.
The worrier in me could construe this to mean that only a tank fitted to a production car could be used, and you would need to know the approvals registration number of it? Any other views?
