GD and AK seem to have got that message across to their customers, or their customers understand the implications to this quite well.

Getting drawn into a slanging match doesn't go down well.
Always contact the manufacturer first. If you don't get satisfaction then post away.
IMHO.
This of course excludes me and any grievance I might have with a certain engine supplier from the States, having tried that in the past and got nowhere.  |
Well said Dave, the amount of p1ssed off "old" Pilgrim customers that I have talked to who not even think of contacting Pilgrim direct just beggars belief
AK, BAE, JRV8, DB Replicas, (hope I have not forgotten anyone) although having a presence on here have never fallen foul of that and they must be applauded for their excellent customer service
