RE: Side Pipe Size

Yep, totally agree with Kevin. It's probably worth trying to port-match the Pilgrim manifolds with your Rover heads as the flange-holes are quite small. I went as far as cutting mine open & cleaning up inside (they were hand-made by DT himself or so he told me !).
The Pilgrim side pipes are fairly low fuss to fit. I prefer a round bezel for the exhaust to exit through the body rather than the square one which Pilgrim use. Don't pay £70 for the Pilgrim baffles - there just not worth it. You get two sections of perforated tube wrapped in fibreglass. Whats more, they come completely squashed in the middle to reduce the noise levels - completely pants for gas flow !. I bought them 'by accident' and intended not to fit them - ended up cutting out the middle section and just using the front & rear 'baffles'. Youre much better getting plain tube from CC & making your own for a fraction of the cost. As for SVA - you'll be well advised to borrow a dB meter & check before hand , adding additional wadding / wire wool as necessary .

Pete.

PS. I bought the CC heat shields to go with my Pilgrim pipes & these look great too.
