I don't think you need to vent both rocker covers, the usual idea is to draw such air as is needed IN though the rocker cover on the oil filler side, through the crankcase and OUT through the other. If you revert to this more conventional system then you only need one PCV valve. I will try later to upload a picture (last attempts failed!)
