I admit to being amazed at some of the performance figures mentioned on this site but you have to consider that aerodynamics are having a MUCH smaller impact at low speeds and that as long as your have sufficient HP, torque and traction you should be fine.
I seem to remember from my clubcobra days that there is a utility much like the tyre and transmission one on this site that allows you to input several variables and will give an approximate ET for the quarter mile. THis should in turn give very approximate 0-60 times. Obviously chassis flexing etc will impact performance but it does give a rough guide. If I find it I will post it to the useful files section.
I haven't seen Rob's Cobra but from what I have heard, and comparing it to the cars spoken about in the attached thread I have no problem with 0-60 3.1 secs.
A Diablo does the standing quarter in @13 secs I believe and that has a 0-60 in @4secs so using basic maths Rob's 10 sec quarter mile equates to a far lower 0-60.
The other thing to note is that each 10th of a second improvement costs a hell of a lot more the faster you get!!
