I'm about to fix the body to the chassis having first fitted the ally engine bay. I've got the Wurth but have a question on procedure. Is it best to drop the body on the chassis, correctly align, pre-drill through body and chassis rails, remove body, apply Wurth, drop the body back on then rivit & bolt down scuttle?
What preparation do you need to make to the chassis before fixing? Do you need to remove the powder coating from the areas where the Wurth is applied to help adhiesion? Do you need to remove grease etc. with some meths before applying the Wurth?
