There is 21mm from the front of the pully to the Steering rack, plenty of room for getting a belt in and out,( I have now fitted one).
Not trying for any record, just had a weeks holiday , besides I am constantly waiting for parts from Pilgrim, the body is ordered but does not arrive until August. The seats take just as long and I am still awaiting the rest of my rolling chassis parts.
Still Penny did seem surprised when I orderd the body.
My last kit took six months to build and get through SVA but was a much more difficult build than the Sumo, (so far !), but you did get everything for the complete kit from day 1.
I tend to plan ahead and build on the weekends.
