Can't comment on the PO18 flange. The pilgrim supplied one which I have used fitted ok with the top jubilee clip and the mounting screws.
I would say that you should use the top jubilee clip even if the hose is quite a tight fit.

As far as the speed sensor arrangement is concerned I mounted mine on the inside of the right hand (o/s) diff hanger facing forwards. A small stainless steel bent bracket (2mm thick) bolts to the hanger. Its a nice tidy arrangement and is out of harms way. I'll take a picture later today and post it this evening.

I did have to adjust the gap a little (from 2.5mm originally to 2mm) as the signal was being lost above 65mph. With the gap reduced no more loss of signal.

Not sure what you mean about bending fins back? My daisy wheel is in use exactly as supplied!

It is my second daisy wheel because I managed to bend the first one moving the jacking beam along 4 post lift. Silly mistake.
