Just attach one end of a reel of a reel of masking tape to one end of the sill, and unroll the tape till you get to the other end, and stick it on. Sill marked as easy as that. then out with the angle grinder and a decent face mask (you'll need it). You don;t have to be very accurate with the cutting.
