Thanks for the response Tony - the reason for needing to look is the rear brakes stuck 'on' after a particularly urgent braking episode. They eventually freed themselves off and I suspect the pistons in the calipers are in need of some TLC and almost certainly the seals will need replacing.

Having had a look underneath I don't see any way of accessing the calipers properly without dropping the rear end (no thanks) or possibly through a panel behind the seats.
