A header is an exhaust manifold ( just the American term!)
Catalytic convertors restrict gas flow full stop. and can be replaced with "high flow" cats or removed completely. If a system is left identical it will ALWAYS produce more noise and more horsepower.
And about 50 % of that waffle is actually true!
The first paragraph hits the nail on the head!
There is too much misinformation regarding exhaust theory.
