You could, but there would be little point. The GD has near perfect 50/50 weight distribution with a 350 or a 383 chevy or a 351 ford and they produce more than enough hp to propel a car that weighs only about 1000kgs.

Stick a big block in there and the weight distribution is all thrown to hell.

If the 383 is still not enough, you could always stick a blower on it.

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.
