re the adjustment for self centering.

the reason your car does not self centre is probably down to the caster angle being wrong, a known problem on the SUMO which is mainly down to the positioning of the nearside wishbones. The castor needs correcting otherwise you are just asking for trouble. This has to be done by shimming the top wishbone but you can't rely on guess work, you must get this done by a specialist geometry person/company who will ensure that both sides of the car are set up correctly

I would strngly advise against the Pilgrim solution of using the jubilee clip,

all the above comments made based on personal experience and having got a SUMO through SVA
