RE: Image upload test

We have a 50kb limit, so it can't be done unless you format the image and bring the size down.

RE: Image upload test

Graham

They format them to less than 50Kb, right click on one of the images, select properties and you will see that they are below 50K. We only have 100Mb of space on this server, and if all the images were 1mb, firstly it would take an age to view pages, and secondly we would run out of space very quickly.

If you need any help in formatting the image, please let me know.

RE: Image upload test

cheers I'll get there one day. I have managed to scan in a photo (offline in my HP editor) I can get the imaged resized to a thumbnail, that is the only way it becomes less then 50kb. Or am I on the wrong side if the ocean!?

Instead of modifying the size of the image, try reducing the resolution. Then reduce the size. Also use a jpeg format as you can use a compression algorithm to reduce it even further. Paint shop pro or microsoft photodraw are reasonably good for this kind of work.
