| runtime errors Hi Rob this last couple of days I've started to get runtime errors on the forums. It happens quite often (every 3 or so messages) when I access amessage, and all the time when I try to use the smileys. When I try a smiley the error is on line 0. The debugger tries to run but can't. The messages are , runtime error line 280, error I'm using XP, and IE v. 6.0.2600. I don't think it's anything at my end as I've changed nothing recently and other sites are ok. Any ideas? regards Kev |

| RE: runtime errors Errrm, Well, I am having a bit of a nightmare at the moment, I backed up the site, and the script timed out, so that caused problems on Thursday, Friday I go to delete the directory sitebackup, thinking it is actually a backup, but it isn't, it is just a redirect to the full site and it then deleted a lot of the site, but thankfully not the forum, so I was up until about 3am this morning re-installing software, and will be doing the rest tonight. I am not surprised there have been a couple of errors recently. The problems should I hope be sorted over this weekend. Robert Forum Admin http://www.cobraclub.com/flags/UK.gif

| RE: runtime errors I have found the runtime error issue, and have re-uploaded the .js file which was missing and was needed. All other aspects on the site are up now, with the exception of the Club Shop, which I will do tomorrow as I have been neglecting the wife for far too long today. There is however some fine tweaking to do. Best Regards Robert Forum Admin http://www.cobraclub.com/flags/UK.gif

| RE: runtime errors Rob - don't know if this is connected with the same glitch, but in the email notifications I am getting re new post to a subscribed thread, the title of the thread given does not match the one you get to using the url given. I suspect the thread you get to is the right one, but it is still disconcerting. Another clue is that the thread titles appear to be correct for new thread started since the weekend, it's the older ones that are affected. Wilf PS - take a look at http://www.totalkitcar.com/news.htm ,see what Steve Hole has to say about the Crendon!!
