PHP Site

I am currently finalising the PHP site, and will be migrating the user database across over the weekend, however we will be running two user databases for a little while as I am currently working on the new forum software which integrates everything into one user database.

The site will be changing over the weekend, however the forum will stay as it is for a while.

RE: PHP Site

OK, here is how I am getting on.

The gallery has been upgraded and ported over, the Web Links are done, thanks to Jim, the Snaketorque articles are over, and a couple of the tech articles are over.

All the files, videos and membership forms are now in the downloads section, and the bookshop has been brought across and I am adding books as I go.

I am having some teething troubles with the forum, so will be working on those over the next week or so, and the user database is causing one or two headaches.

In the meantime, have a look at http://www.cobraclub.com/html/index.php but please ignore the images, I have to tidy them up somewhat.

RE: PHP Site

I have also modified the Gallery in the new site to enable users to send any of the images as a postcard via email.

RE: PHP Site

Robert

In general, people dislike change despite whether it is perceived as being positive or negative. Communication, however, enables people to understand and participate in the change, rather than feel that it is being imposed on them.

Thanks for keeping us updated. How is it going, are you on track?
