Robert,

I use 2 machines when using the forum, on one, when looking at forums, it down loads all posts without having to "view all", the other doesn't. I can't find a setting to change this - where should I look

RE: View All

You will need to log out and log back in, that will restore your settings as per your user profile.

You will have changed how you view the page on one of your PCs, which would have been written to the cookie on that machine, but the other PC will be using the old cookie.

This will be updated when you log out and log back in.

RE: View All

Robert,

I've also got the same problem - had a cookie moment recently :+ - had to delete them all! Since then I have had to click on the view_all link for every topic I look at, (except bookmarked ones which generally seem to expand the topic), I doesnt seem to get remembered & I cant seem to find a "preference" to make it permenant.

I actually use two PCs (both NT, with same userid) - I have tried deleting all the cookies (again) - manually - cant find the option you talked about. (IE 5.5), but still get the problem. I think there may also be an issue with the two PCs sharing and possibly corrupting my NT profile.

Any thoughts?
