I am currently waiting for the 6.2 version of the forum which will have the following improvements. The forum should be upgraded within the next week.

The best bit is the user rating, so you will then be able to tell if a user knows what they are on about, or just taking the proverbial.

The new features for 6.2 include:

- Option to semi-automatically prune forum log file, IP log file,
send subscription, and prune session files
- Newly designed and improved administration program
with many new adminstration utilites
- Buddy list
- Scratch pad
- Welcome newest member hack
- Avatar support (with limited avatar images)

and a whole lot more!

Improved implementation in 6.2
------------------------------
- Much improved security checks for all requests
- New interface design
- New improved search function
- New improved read new messages function
- New layout for profiles, rating, who's online features

RE: Forum Version 6.2

Hi robert,

first impression was much the same (as steve tate) but i am sure after a week or two will realise how simple new forum is to use, obviously a lot of hard work has gone into this and I for one, am more than willing to give it a fair go ( or are we being too fussy!!!!!)

All that I can say, it is a far better site than many(if not all) other club sites.

keep up the good work

steve
