Comment: Used to transmit a indentifiying ID but no longer does this.

To make things clear people who have difficulty understanding this:

At this time, we do NOT consider this program to be a form of "spyware".

If Alexa is spyware, so is Google's toolbar, NOTE: most browser toolbars available on the Internet are spyware, i.e. they send information home!

OK Rob, thanks for the info.
I'm working away at the moment so net access is slow at 14400 from the mobile. Didn't look it up further (14.4=50 mins/day free then 1p/min, GPRS=£££)
I just remembered deleting Alexa registry keys with some spyware removal tool a while ago.
