Torque wrench setting

I do not seem to have this value in the Haynes book.
Can anyone supply please.

Bolts 4 off that hold lower swivel ball joint to stub axle carrier.
I know they need thread lock but what torque please in NM.

Thank you

Re: Torque wrench setting

As you point out, this is not in the Haynes Manual I have at least.
Jaguar Manual for XJS, Section 60-07 quotes 20-27 Nm. I guess they are all the same. This shows the fitting of new tab washers. Are you getting any?

My original did not have tab washers or any kind of washer, they had plenty of thread lock on though.
so I have just done the same.

Re: Torque wrench setting

My Haynes manual from an XJ6 says 55 lb/f / 75 Nm

Not sure if it's a typo as it appears pretty high. Perhaps they mean ball joint to stub axle, not ball joint to wishbone...
