Which Servo & Master Cylinder??

Hi all,

Can anyone advise if there is a preffered choice when it comes to the Rover 216 or 416 brake servo & master cylinder or are they pretty much the same item?

Any assistance appreciated.

Regards,
Martyn

Pretty much the same, I fitted the 416 type and the brakes are very positive:thumb:

Martyn,

Got mine from this guy on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rover-200-25-M...QQcmdZViewItem as per this thread on here - 200 quid!??

Checked with Ken and it's the right one. Good price, quick delivery, well packaged & fits like a glove.

Re: Which Servo & Master Cylinder??

Word to the wise, fit the servo and M/C to the body/ bulkhead before fixing the body to the chassis, it makes things a lot easier...especially if you have high rocker covers or a wide cylinder head !!

Cheers,

Tony

Re: Which Servo & Master Cylinder??

Hi Martyn,

I got mine from the same place as Kayjayd.

I no longer have use for mine as my build plans have been put on hold for the forseeable future.

I can send you some pictures if you want to make sure it's the right one, I also checked with Ken before buying.

No sensible offer refused.

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Ryan
