Valve Covers

Thanks for your responses but these suppliers only supply Cobra covers for V8 Ford engines. The type i'm after have 4 studs.

Any further advice welcome.

Carl.

Carl,

I have been down the route you are on - the solution is Jim at JRV8 jrv8@btinternet.com he does a very nice set with adaptor plates to convert the Chevy fixings to the Ford pattern, supplied with gaskets and stainless fasteners. The covers are a real quality item and Jim is a charming man to do business with.

Because of the suspicious nature of a few of the people on this forum, I might just add that I have no shares in Jim's business, I am not on commission, receive no backhanders of any kind and am just a very satisfied customer.

Regards
Jeremy

Hi Carl,
We sell adaptor plates that will allow you to fit these Ford "Cobra" covers to a SBC engine.
We normally can supply the covers as well, but we're out of stock of these until the middle of Jan.
Regards
Jim

Hi Jeremy,
Absolutely !! same fee as the last time.
We both must have been typing at the same time, as the replies are only one second apart.

Best wishes for the New Year.
