stupid question

yeah i know it is but did my head in tonight. with usual uk weather i decided to put hood on as i was not finishing work til 9pm. have only used it once last year and apart from a bit of struggling with poppers all was ok. but tonight with rain starting could not fathom it out. with the support bar the way i thought it should go the poppers fell a good 2inches short and with the bar the other way the back looked a mess with roll hoops tight on rear screen. so the stupid question is could it have shrunk as i had to wash both inside and out last year as something had spilt over in boot. from what i could see in my mad rush tonight there is only one way to put the support bar together!

come on help an idiot

I don't know if it affects all but I know with mine, if I let it dry off the car then it does shrink a little bit, so now I always let it dry on the car.

Warming it up might help Richard. Try putting it in the airing cupboard or hanging it over a radiator for a while before you fit it.

I soaked mine in water and refitted it and once it dried out again all was fine.
