Roll Hoops

Can anyone tell me where to get decent priced Roll hoops. I want to add a second hoop to my AK, the original is 2" od and 10.5" centres in stainless steel.

Brian. Whatever the cost I would try and source one from the same supplier as your existing one. Failing that, buy two or leave it with one. Not all rollbars are equal! Both in quality and in the radius of the bends. Any variation, no matter how slight! WILL stick out like a sore thumb. Trust me here as I bought what was the "best price" at the time from another manufacturer! And the radius is different on both sides of the bends!

Thanks Chris, I'm new to all this, but feared this might be the case. I guess I need two then! (the wife thinks she's missing out!)

Have you spoken to AK Brian? They will know your car and will probably know where the rollbar came from
One other thing. Has the car got stripes? If it has, and it's a Mk1 body then the chances are the stripes might not be millimetre perfectly centred! Again, adding the second bar might show up like a dogs dinner!

Thanks for your help Chris. That's a good point, I already know the stripes are not well centralised at the front.

Thanks
Brian

Just dont want you to cut the holes and then think s**t!!! "that looks crap" The number plate light isn't quite central on the boot, so if it is with the stripes beware.
