    Prop Shaft

    Hi guys.
    Just pricing up my Cobra Build and the only thing I've fogotten is the Prop shaft. Where is the best place to get these from and roughtly how much do they cost.

    It will cost you about £130 give or take a bit.
    Lots of places can do the work- the company that provides your chassis will probably have a preferred supplier.
    Crendon Chassis No.49
    Huddart FE428 + toploader
    486 ft lb / 491 HP on the brake
    460hp with Turkey Pan fitted.

    I had my prop made by a company in Coventry (sorry can't remember their name - but Seph on here recommended them). Around £130, first class job that included the diff flange and bolts - all I had to supply was the gearbox yoke and some dimensions. Bailey Morris are well regarded but from memory quite expensive.

    These people are reasonably local to you in Chorley...North West Propshafts and Brakes - We supply, manufacture, repair and fit Propshafts, Driveshafts, CV Joints and Universal Joints
    I don't have any experience of using them but it may be worth popping round and have a chat with them?

    There may be someone in Blackpool if you check on the internet or Yellow Pages? (Did TVR buy their props locally??)
