Rob
It looks like Steve Loadsman, until recently the rep for West Sussex and Hants region.

Rob, confirm Steve Loadsman. Also confirm lack of tread on your rear tires. Hope you had a great time over here. I did and look forward to seeing even more cars next year!!

I will definitely be returning next year, and will be going over in September this year. I have the bug.

I had major difficulty driving home on monday, every time I put my foot down, the back end stepped out. Thought it be that sloppy GD chassis, then I checked my rear tyres, and I now know what it feels like to drive on slicks in the wet now. }> }> }>

The reason teh Steve Loadsman stopped was that, as he was about to commence his first lap of the Ring circuit he suddenly lost all power when his foot went to the floor. He wondered whether this was some kind of divine intervention protecting him, but in the end discovered that the throttle cable at the carb end had come adrift. Following a simple rectification job he was then able to continue around the Ring as planned, in the comfort that someone "up there" was watching over him.....;-)
