Not sure if this has been posted here before

I am very sorry to report that John Tojeiro sadly died on Wednesday 16th March 2005 at the age of 81.

John was admitted to Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge just before Christmas. He had suffered from Parkinson’s disease for some years and, in contracting pneumonia, was sadly too weak to overcome the infection.

John had been an Associate Member [of the BRDC]since 1953 and many of you will be well aware of his contribution. Doug Nye is writing an obituary for the BRDC Bulletin

Very sorry to hear news, met John Tojeiro at the Haynes Cobra Day last year, both he and his wife were wonderful.

Sad loss as you say, but he's definately left a positive mark on tens of thousands of Cobra / AC Bristol / Ace owners around the world. Quite a legacy to leave behind.

Shelby may have got most of the credit, but Tojeiro started it all off.

Yes sad news indeed although I never met the man several locals in Buntingford had worked for both him and Ernie Bailey (He did the Ali bodies at Buckland)
