Track Insurance

I have booked the tracktime at Elvington and just starting to consider insurance. I will not use the car on other track days, just this one to have a go. I know there are others haviong a go for the first time too so what you all doing, paying for insuyarance or just taking the risk?

What do others think, as it is just other Cobs (no loonys in 7's), is it worth shelling out for insurance for 1 day?

I personally wasn't going to bother but if the cost wasn't too bad i might consider it.Does anyone know what the premium is roughly for track day insurance?

Last time I think Rob negotiated a price about £120 Personally after having done it last time I will not waste my money this time as there will only be fellow club members their so it is reasonably safe, Of course there is always the possibility of trouble but I think you would have to be pretty unlucky and a nutter on the circuit.
