I believe these only have a rear light and brake light in (flashing brake light used as indicator in the US) has anyone adapted these to give indicators as well?
Thanks

Yes,
Mark Bright managed to chop up some cheap indicator reflectors and carefully let the bit in to the red reflector portion of the light unit and then fit a 50mm flat red reflector to his bodywork.
This would have involved changing the orientation of the brake/tail bulb to horizontal to make room for the indicator bulb.
Looks very good but would not pass an SVA and is not as visible as a proper light would be but it proves it can be done.

Hi Simon.
Have a look here at what Paul (Double D) did.

Nice one. Would they be legal?

Probably depends upon your interpretation (or more to the point Mr P's interpretation) of Legal

Wouldn't have thought they were E marked so not SVA compliant.

Just my thoughts...

The small flat glass lenses that Dax and some other manufacturers use are not "E" marked but they still pass, it just depends on what light is emitted.
