You can't feel too sorry for car dealers when they do this...

This Ultima sold less than a week ago for 10K
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4554797034&fromMakeTrack=true and its now back on ebay (less than three days later) for almost 40K

I'm in the wrong business!!!!!!!!

AFAIK the prosport was never an Ultima. How it got road registration is interesting as these are race cars. Also prosports tend to sell 2nd hand around the 23-25k mark not 38K.

OK it's a huge markup, but to be honest 40k would appear to be about the mark for a dealer selling one of these.

I'd say the original private seller got fleeced if he parted with it for 10k. :-(

Unless of course it had any LOTUS engineered components and then he's probably glad to get shot of it, but then i'm biased)

Interesting to see that date of 1st registration has changed from 1997 to 2002, very iffy.
Looking at it and all the photos its quite tatty and probably needs a few bob spending on it, and as its one of the early bodies it is quite dated now, probably worth 20K but nowhere near 40......

It's NOT an ultima.
I sent the guy an email asking if it was the same one that sold on ebay last week for 10K. he replied saying "so what" then put the question on his listing for all to see..... :p

At 10K that was an absolute steal - good job I didn't see it or I'd have car housing problems now!
