Me again :)

Thought I would get in a few posts before I had to log off...

I am new to this engineering milarki, more of a construction bod myself...

With this in mind I want to compare prices for car parts, not just engine components (I will be using a Chevy v8 small block, but dont start a fight about it, its allready decided! ), but rear axls, shocks, tranmissions etc etc in order to get an idea of varying costs; you know when you go to the super market and see the cheap oranges and compare them to the expensive ones (the difference still eludes me! hehe:D )
I would like to look at new parts, to see how much they are and I can then figure out myself the cheaper costs for 2nd parts etc

I havent got a clue how much things cost, I dont want to get ripped off

So finally to the quesiton.... can anyone suggest a good website, shop etc preferbly in the Uk that stocks all these sorts of parts from different manufactures, so I can compare them and figure out the differences and what I am getting for the extra money?

Can you tell I am not an engineer! hehe

Oh and no fighting please... we are british! hehe

Cheers all

Snow

Buy from the States and save yourself a fortune, it's easy and sometimes even quicker!
