Evening All

I am currently looking at hoses for my rover and just wondered which is the best option between braided or silicon hoses such as Samco. Also what the cost would be to kit the engine out with hoses.

Thanks
Paul

They ain't cheap that's for sure, I don't know about Samco but good quality braiding over decent hoses could cost you over 250. :)

Yeah Samco hoses look good and easy to make up. I have them on my motor.

I have blue silicon hoses on my RV8 and with a new alloy header tank, filler neck etc in the top hose with fan controll sensor built in, all supplied and fitted it was about 330. It all looks great.

Hi Paul.
Braiding does look good if done right. However to do it right you need anodised hose ends!!! The larger ones are 25 each!! and even the babies are 10! So you will be looking to spend about 500 - 600

What have I done wrong in loading up the pictures in my post above?
The pictures should be clear and sharp as they are in my gallery. This is the first time i have attached pictures to a post. Advice please?

Take a look in my gallery if you want to see braided hoses with anodised clamps. :)
