My Ram has a Borg Warner T10 gearbox ( I think a Muncie is the 'sister' box as sold in US ). It occasionally jumps out of second on severe decceleration. Not a big deal right now, but would be good to know of any specialists who could fix. I'm in Scotland so would like to at least find someone no further south than Manchester.
Cheers

Chris, I rebuilt one years ago. Good gearbox. Almost sure your syncro ring is bad which will let it jump out of gear. I think you guys call them bulk rings. Pretty easy fix and the parts are pretty reasonable. If you like, I can find a supplier here that might be of assistance.
The Muncie box was not Borg Warner and was unique to GM in their 60's muscle cars. The T-10 was used in the early 60's by GM and Ford (before the top loader) and is a very strong gearbox. The syncro ring kit is about $60.00 and about $35.00 for gaskets/seals.
Hope this helps
I have a PDF breakaway diagram I can send if you require.

Andy Robinson in Basingstoke can supply these parts, he used to run a Super-T10 in his old Zephyr, can rebuild them too, he's on 01256 880589 or try -

I have a T10 ('64 ford mustang) fitted to my SRV8. I'm down in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire and at least in the same country. I got bits from the following contact http://www.thegearbox.org/home.html
