We used to go to Teignmouth on holiday every year, 50 years ago mind, and stay in a caravan. Thought it was brilliant. Then went to Shaldon, 40 years ago, with six of my mates. Got totally rat ar*ed for a week in a pub just below the bridge in Shaldon. Absolutely brilliant. Then took my family, 20 years ago and that was pretty good too. Not as good as 40 years ago though. Your lucky to live in such a beautiful part of England. Must bring the cob down there, and the wife, and revisit some of the places we found.

I Remember going to play golf there (cape Cornwall) a few years
back and every time we got there it was piddling down but third
day was OK !
We only had to come from Long Rock near Penzance as my sister
in law lives there - lovely place 2 mins to the beach and 20 min
walk to the mount.

I have a life-long aversion to Bude after a tent ridge pole fell on me during a gale on a cliff top overlooking the town.

Good job I was pi$$ed or it might have hurt even more!

Bude is also nice, we were there in early February for a friends 60th Birthday Bash.:D :D

This picture was taken from outside the Hotel, almost a Mediterranean sunset. 8) 8)

Great pics Mike; its a bit ironic that we waste the best years of our life at work isnt it!!
