They had to keep the car in over the weekend to work on it on monday. I've got a leak coming somewhere from the carb and have petrol collecting in the mainfold (not much but still a leak). They were also saying that they wouldn't be able to do a proper brake test for the fron breaks because once the front wheels fall down into the "rolling road" the oil cooler would hit the floor. Anyone had similar problems like this and if so how did you fix it or do i need a specialist MOT station?

Not knowing the Dax to well - but wouldn't it be possible to
unbolt the cooler and raise it up out of the way just for the
test ?.

You could wind up the spring pre-load, that might get you out of the 5hit!

(You might then fail on the headlamps pointing upwards )

Hi Si.
If the front is so low it won't fit in a std set of brake rollers then your ride height is too low.
The adjusting collars on the shocks need to have about 7 threads showing below them to get the correct ride height.
