Do you mean a genuine AC Cobra or a replica?
You will have a hard time finding somewhere to hire either one.

Your best bet is to get along to your local meet and ask if you can blag a ride. You will also get informatoin on upkeep and running costs. If you;re very lucky, someone might let you have a short slow drive on a private road somewhere, but noone's going to let you take it up to the limit!

- and owning it is impractical, expensive, not female freindly but its FB, but then most if us will be biased round here

ps you will need a garage, IMO.

Hi Kevin

I would like to own a replica but hire either.

Being new to the club I donít know where to start looking for a local meet but I will try.

It would be great for someone to let me have a slow drive as I know the value and pride that goes into these cars.

I am a hovercraft pilot and willing to trade seats for a day if someone is up for it.

Space for keeping one is not a problem with storing all the other toys I have Hovercrafts, Boat, Land Rover, etc

Thanks for your help

As you've posted in the SE region, I'm guessing you're in South London.
There are 3 meets near to you:

The Grasshopper (Kent)

The Swann, at 3 Mile Cross

BlackBush Airport (Surrey/Hants)

and if you want to go further afield, but a great venue....

- dont think I can make it easier than that!

Hmm - so you think the forum name "Pyscho" will encourage folks to let you drive their cars eh? LOL

Try speaking with the various manufacturers - some may let you behind the wheel of their demonstrators, but I suspect that bad experiences in the past makes them very wary indeed about that. All of them will take you out for a test drive as a passenger, of course.

Speaking personally, I am afraid that only I will ever sit behind the steering wheel in my car (unless I sell it, that is). But there may be someone out there who will let you have a go..........

I donít mind being a passenger but I would like to know what one is like before I buy one. Is there anything I should look out for or avoid?
