Hi all,
just in case anyone's interested I thought I'd post a few ideas for meeting up as a group.

Pencoed (near Bridgend) Classic Car Show - Sunday 9th May 2010
A great little show run by South Wales Classic Car Club for charity.
Free entry before the 1st April or 10 on the day.
If there's a group of us to park together we'd need to arrive together. Although Club Stands can be arranged in advance.

Should I request a club area? Please let me know if you are coming ASAP and I'll request some club space but you'll still need to enter individually.

Of course the weekend before we have the Stoneleigh show for those that are up for it.
I'm going up on Saturday night to do Sunday as we have the club AGM on Sunday.

We're keen...how many do you have so far for a club stand?

I'm not if there is a particular no. but obviously if they have to tape off an area they need a clue on numbers. :p

I'd happily have a run out to that one if the weathers decent. No hood as yet so not much fun if its hissing it down!! Do you need to fill in entry forms etc?

Hi All, now that we have the excitement of Stoneleigh behind and sunday is approaching I thought I'd bump this thread. (for those that went)

If we want park up together we need to arrive together. :)
So where's a good place to meet up?

Some coming East I guess along the M4 the showground is just of J35.
Me from Cowbridge way.

Anyone else joining us that we don't already know about. :)

The darned weather is looking less than ideal :(.

Should the sun shine (or the rain stop, at least) we'll be coming from the top of the M4 so will be happy to meet up where's best.

Cheers,

Jason.

I use Local 7 day Weather forecast for SA198NQ - Netweather.tv (http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=uk7dayx7;page=3;type=free;ct=~SA1 98NQ;sess=#forecast)

for my weather watching and find it to be more detailed and accurate. Happily I see the forecast is now looking much better and dry! :D

I think I'm going to have to fill the tank and give Jake a clean tomorrow.

The weather has improved nicely and instead of outbreaks of rain/showers we now have outbreaks of sunshine :D

Looking forward to meeting more Cobra owners today and having breakfast there! (there better be some mean bacon butties!)

Cheers,

Jason.
