Hi all,
me again, who's up for an April meeting?

Here's my suggestion, The Water Mill at Ogmore by Sea.

April 18th 2010 at 12.00 midday.

The Watermill Ogmore ? Pubs and Restaurants Glamorgan, Ogmore Pubs (http://www.thewatermillogmore.co.uk/)

Hopefully we'll have a few more faces at this meet, just Sandra and me, Rowly and Johnboy last time out.
It was great to meet you guys.
No Cobras either.
It's fun watching people arrive and wondering if they are Cobrateers or not.

This time I'll be taking the Cobra rain or shine. (I do have a hood):p

The Water Mill has a massive flat car park as well as food available.

At the meeting we can discuss Stoneleigh, convoys or whatever, as it happens Sandra and I will be going up on Saturday afternoon (staying with friends) to do the Show on Sunday. :D
The CRC AGM is on Sunday if anyone has any input.

Snow is dry, until it melts! By God, what weather we're having here! I've got snow all over the place again!

Just watch the highlights it's much more interesting. :)

I must admit that the last race was a little more interesting than the previous which would bore anyone at any time.
And as for sweaty Eddie. yuk! not a good look. :(

I just checked the weather forecast.
Looks good, so might take the cob, might bring the navigator(Lyn).
Hopefully not a muddy carpark this time:D

Yep,
the forecast is good so Cobras at the ready. :p
No muddy car parks as you say.
The Watermill has a nice big flat carpark. :D
Hopefully the Grand Prix will be finished in plenty of time for those that want to watch it live. :D

We'll be watching the F1 nice and live...don't think that will leave a great deal of time to get all the way to the meet - sorry (I need to preserve my licence:().

We'd be keen on another meet that is equidistant (ish) for all and one that doesn't clash with F1;)

Have a great day and drive out - we were out and about today - superb 80 miles:D:D:D

Hi Kev,

Hope the Sunday meet went well. Let me know when the next one is planned.
Everytime I take the Ram out, almost without exception, I pick up a stone chip on the front end and the rear quarters just above the ally protection plates...so bloody annoying!! Would fitting mud flaps help cut down this type of damage as the tyres must pick up debris and deposit on the rear fibreglass or any other advice on what you found helps. I know its impossible to stop everything hitting the Ram but there must be something I can do other than not use her that will help. Advice much appreciated.

Franc

Hi Franc
I fitted a set of Halfords blue mudflaps to mine, works a treat, stops the stones flicking up.
Particularly bad in Wales. when they putt salt on the minor roads this year, they mixed it with grit.

Rowly,

Thnaks for the info. I will have to ask someone to fit them for me - any issues to look out for when fixing?
