Can anoyone help???
Im having great difficulty finding a replacement clutch and flywheel for my cob. I have a japanese W50 steel case gearbox (think its of a celica), running to a Ford 302 engine.
Real steal sold me a BY360400 McLead clutch but does not match.
Does any one know of a reliable clutch specialist in the south east or kent area where I could take the old clutch and fly wheel to get it matched.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Martin:confused:

My guess is that you need a clutch cover for the 302 and a plate for a Celica.

the existing clutch cover has had the mounting holes drilled out larger for the bolts to fit and the new clutch from realsteal the garage recons hasnt got enough metal around the edge to make those holes bigger without weaking the cover fixing. I think prob one solution would be to get a new cover make from copying the old?

Do you know if you have a 302 flywheel or a modiied Toyota one?
They may have modified a Toyota clutch cover to fit the 302 flywheel?

Its not my build but luckelly he gave me all the receipt, it looks to me that a ford flywheel fitted then another receipt has a steel flywheel made by american speed specialties in kent. might try and get in contact with them tomorow. what a nightmare this all is??
