Hi everyone, its me again....

Quick question, for exhaust wrap, would you use hose clips or the wrap clips??

You can get some lighter gauge jubilee type clips, not as strong as hose clips which do the job and look a bit neater.;-)

I used copper earth cable stripped out of some old ring main cable it hardly shows if you make all of the twists underneath. Its abit hard on cuts on the hands though. I also recomend spraying the wrap with a high temp spray to stop petrol anti freeze oil etc soaking in if there is a spillage. a mate of mine set fire to his engine because of an antifreeze leak onto the wrap. When the water evaporates your left with pure alchole impregnated wrap.

Thought about trying Ceramic coating on the manifolds instead? You get the same results as wrap, but it looks better, and lasts longer. The wrap soon starts to discolour and look ugly, whilst the ceramic coating is a wipe clean surface.

Ugly isn't important in this case Rigman, it's only for a GD.

Hey, Rigman what's wrong with Halfords exhaust repair tape and gumbo. It can be made to look very tasteful if one applies it with one of those Artex rollers.
