Price?? BTW just so that no ones under any misunderstanding! AFAIK the most you can bore an Essex block to is 3161cc! And an engine of that spec would need a shed load of other mods to hold it all together. HTH

So it is  I was more interested in how someone had found the extra 339cc that Ford Motorsport could never find ;)

£14k for a car with Halibut wheels, you've got to be codding. At first I thought I was herring things but then the car has been in the hands of a good tuna.

Cheers,

Tony

Sorry Gene, its my childish sense of humour.

The wheels are Halibrand not Halibut..........

i think you will do well to get 14k but ya never know :) Best place to get some idea is search places like pistonheads for sumo's with v6 engines. good luck with your sale.

fairly priced? - depends how long you want to wait to sell it.
I got a little less than that in July09 for my car, which dare I say it was higher specced than that. (Pics of green sumo in my gallery). On reflection I might have got a little moe with better haggllng and some more waiting around.
