Pour yourself a nice drink, plug the lappie into your TV if you can, and enjoy.....

PAST GLORY (Gran Turismo Omologata) on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/39417189)

an excellent video imho.

- there is a brief cobra appearance, and a nice sequence showing the GTOs nose vents being unlocked.

Some cracking motors on there, notice the Cob exhaust was cut parallel to the body, not notice that before. Also, I must be entering early senile duty but I can't recognise this, what is it?

It looks familiar. lie like I should know but driving me nuts

Ferrari 250GT short wheelbase California Spyder?

I'd say it was a Ferrari 250 GT, but a standard chassis Cabriolet. The California Spyders had side vents. Cabriolets didn't.

Great vid Kev, thanks for posting, does make me realise, the nose vents on the a cobra look wrong, by the way, what was the car driving past after the unblocking of the vents, looked like a chap sat on a skateboard!LOL, damn them GTO's are so perty, never been a big ferrari fan, but they do have a cirtain something thats hard to put into words

... realise the nose vents on a cobra look wrong

for an original-style cobra, well.... yes ;).... but i guess it doesnt really matter on a modern looking 'cobra-inspired' sports car.

Craig.

Mines got a bit of a smoother edge and longer and slightly downturned on both sides. I like those on there it looks brutal, like somebody slashed it off with a laser and sharper edged. Mine were done by Ken at AK and gues it might be SVA related.

There should be some pics in my gallery if you want a closer look

Ahhh, OK, See what you mean about the exhausts now.
The rolled or smooth edge will be an IVA thing. My Dax pipes originally had a bit of 5mm steel bar tack welded around the exit to make it all rounded and smooth.
Pointing at the ground though just kicks up the dust, is there a way you can rotate the pipes slightly or are they a welded assembly?

I altered my pipes later on to fit 4" tail pipes. A bit over the top perhaps but never mind... :)
