I was the proud and lucky winner of the Pilgrim sumo which was built by Channel 5's Dream Machines and then given away in a competition.

The Car is immaculate and has less than 1000 miles.

The car has been sitting in My Garage for the past few years and I feel it to be unfair to let a stunning piece of machinery to stay in the dark when it should be out in the sunshine.

The Car was built professionally by Mark Evans and his team and presented by Amanda Stretton.

The car was built with with new parts and and an amazing paint job. It has racing brakes and a massive 5.7 Chevy V8 under the hood

The Car is in Cardiff if anyone wants to view and any questions will gladly be answered.

A few people wondered what happened to that car! Glad to see it surface!

It's been in my garage for a few years.

Every sumer I have good intentions of getting it MOT'd, insured and on the road, but never got around to it.

Now decided to let someone else enjoy it.

If you have any advice to help sell her i would much appreciate it.

Many thanks

Bung it on piston heads and then be prepared to be p**sed about. I do know a specialist car vendor up this way that will market and sell it for you but Yorkshire is a long way from you.

There was a thread on here about free adverts for peeps trying to sell cars, do a search.

I don't wan to upset you or anything, but I don't think you will get anywhere near that for it. Is it Jag based or Sierra? I reckon about 18k tops if jag based and 15k if sierra based.

Hello,
I remember that competition and applied several times, even measured my garage to see if it would fit!
Happy days....
Wondered what happened to it...

On the show, it was shown being built using Sierra Parts however, they decided to scrap that and fir all new parts to the car. It had new racing brakes fitted, new engine Chevy V8 and a 2k paint job.

But as with all things, it is only worth as much as some will want to pay for it.

Thanks for the advice.

Gav,

if it fits you can still have it now.

It is amazing getting far more interest and attention than other cars such as ferrari's and bentleys.

Got a great sound to it and as quick as hell.

It needs to go to someone who will appreciate it more.

It's Sierra based. The fact that Mark Evans built it might add a few quid (or remove a few quid!) Really Pilgrim built it, that might add a few quid or remove a few quid! :p

Sorry for the slight piss take, It was all done in the best possible taste! I would have thought some where between 15 and 20k would be close to the mark.

Put it up for £16.7k and then see what happens....

If no interest, then.... you outpriced the market.
But £20k.... forget it.
