Can anyone give me the details of reputable dealers who you can trust to sell you a straight car? I know total headturners are good. What about target or any others?

THT you already mentioned.
Sovereign Cars and Hallmark are another couple.
You will of course pay about 5K more than buying the same car from it's original owner.
There are some good cars for sale privately I'd take that route and save yourself some money.

Always worth a chat with Anthony at Absolute Horsepower too.
He's not a dealer as such, but he sometimes has a car or two for sale that might fit the bill.
Of course if he's selling a car on, the work that needs doing on it will be correct.

Where do I get hold of him?

Thanks again for the advice, just concerned about my limited knowledge if buying privately. There's a burgundy one up in Glasgow which I really like the look of.

Finchy - send him a pm - I'm seeing him in a couple of hours - I'll tell him to keep an eye open - or look up Absolute Horsepower website based in Wellington Somerset

Dave Brookes at DB Replicas can do you a brand new Dax for the price of many used cars:

I'm sure there are some knowledgeable members up your way that would happily help with any serious viewings and questions.

Yep, I would second (third?) those sentiments. He was extremely helpful when I was looking for my Cobra and continues to provide tech support and advice whenever I'm in a jamm.

He can be PM'd by looking up Chimeara.

Or via WEBSITE, HERE (http://www.absolutehorsepower.co.uk/).

If you Google "gay lap dancing bar, Wellington" you should find him relatively quickly.

There's a pilgrim just gone on pistonheads. 2005 in blue with silver stripes. The gent lives in south Wales. Don't suppose you know anything about the car or anyone who might do you?
