Hi All Just a reminder to those traveling to france after July 1st ,you are required by law to carry 2 breathalysers , as well as the rest of the items I have just bought 2 from my local factors for approx £5 each,but they will be more on the ferry The french have the upPer hand on this one see you all soon Laurie :?

good advice, loads of cheap ones on ebay, forget the cheap digital ones...not approved, and the expensive digital ones will need evidence of recalibration too, so there of little use after the first year unless recalibrated

Just bought mine from Halfords for about £5. It's not worth messing around ordering online for that price I wouldn't have thought.
I read somewhere that it was only advisory this year and compulsory next year to have them.

online, ebay ,,approx 10 key strokes and 2 minutes, versus a trek to helfrauds....same price and free postage....

I'm told it's advisory rather than compulsory until October this year. Probably because all the shops here (ie SW France but no doubt elsewhere also) sold out weeks ago.
