I have got a stunning little 1973 Triumph Dolomite Sprite if anyone intrested?

Been fully restored not a jot of rust or rot anywhere, and its what i describe as "eat your dinner off clean" all over.

Obviously im aware that this isnt a Cobra so will gauge little intrest on here, however someome might be looking for a cheep little classic.

Also this is the one that everyone wanted back in the day as its the 2lt (1998cc) not the smaller engine so this is supprising good fun to drive.

some pictures below, and im asking for £3800 located in the North East (Durham)

intrest anyone?

Well i am. LOL cant understand why i have had no intrest? been for sale since July, and not one bit of serious intrest. Iv had the generic "just waiting to sell my VW Passat" emails but no one who actually wants to buy.

Iv seen them sell for £5000 with a rotten (put your hand through a hole) front end and rear arches... so i dont get it? must be the current financial climate and people just dont spend money??? (wish my missus was in that boat)

Can't understand why it hasn't sold  it's looks like a good price to me, have you tried selling it on Classic Cars for Sale on Car And Classic | www.carandclassic.co.uk (http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/) I've sold 2 cars through them very quickly.

Yup! that's a Dolomite SPRINT not sprite.
They were a fab car back in their day.
I was a Rover Triumph apprentice back then and got to drive a few of them as prototypes etc.

Tommy is that the original sprint engine?
I seem to remember they were slant 4 16V?

Surely this is a Dolomite Sprint. I've never heard of the Sprite.

Maybe that's why you're having trouble selling it.

haha ops yep typo.

God knows where sprite came from??? i have a mini sprite also if that helps? LOL

Yes as far as i know its the original engine, it underwent a rebuild during the restoration naturally but this is all as it was ment to be, bar KnN Filters and steering wheel (but i have the original)
And less of the "Fab car back in thir day" talk ;) it still is a fantastic machine now. I adore the sounds and smells inside... just the sound of the door slam takes me right back!!!

You must think that members on here have loads of money, £3800 in your post, £3500 in the C&C advert ;) ;) :D :D

as it was up for £4000,

but dropped the price to £3800 to try and move on.

thats weird?

as iv just checked the listing and yes it states £3500 on the listings, but click on the actual advert and it chages to £3800???

A assume thats why Phil doesnt charge to advertise on his site. lol
