Hi

I've just fulfilled my boyhood dream and purchased a Pilgrim Sumo (5.7L Chevy/Tremec gearbox) and I reckon that the clutch will need looking at/replacing before next year. Have any of you folks got a tame engineer/garage you can recommend fairly near to Haywards Heath?

Best

Mike

Bit further afiled, I would recommend Ben at

- did a couple of jobs on my old car while it was stored there between house moves - recommended.

Hi Mike,
Not too far for you I think, but I always take our Sumo to Pretty's Garage at Partridge Green, for MoT's, etc. and as a consequence, had some minor works done, and lots of free good advice from Gerry, the owner. He's a real petrol head himself and owns and runs some vintage and classic vehicles of his own. As Frank says above, maybe you can make it to our next meet at Goodwood on 25th November, some of us will be in our tin tops, so don't worry about not turning up in the Cobra if you didn't want to run it until the clutch is sorted. Regards, Don.
