After a couple of threads i have been reading regarding car covers and best ones available i though i would see if anyone has any interest in a group buy for a "Carcoon" air flow system?

These systems do fetch a premium and i think they do offer a superior protection for the car as their is zero body contact, but they are big and bulky so they take up a bit of garage space.

Initially we have been offered a discount of 10%, but im sure with a few units ordered at one point we could negotiate a little better than that... shy bairns!!

Would anyone be interested in one?

Size4 i believe is what would fit our cars best, even with 5" side pipes. I will take exact measurements if enough interest is generated.

Tommy, I don't know if you know of this but saw your post and thought i would show you. I don't know much about it, or what the price comparison is, but it seems a better shape, anyway the more information the better I always say!

I was looking into these before I sold my Cobretti to Ken Baker. I was going to opt for the air chamber type. Carcoon do them as well, I think they are called Veloce. The benefits that I could see were no direct contact with the bodywork at any stage and the ability to drive the car in and out without having to deflate the unit. I must admit that I was pining for the Cobra but with this blasted weather over Europe I would not have had a chance to drive it anyway and there is nothing more frustrating than having a beast in your garage that you can't use. It was ever the case and the reason that my car had only done 10k miles. Here in South West France it is 10 degrees colder than normal and has rained almost every day for the past week.
